Abstract
Objective:To observe the influence of Bupleurum plus Os Draconisand Oyster Shell Decoction on cognitive function and qual-ity of life in patients with vascular dementia.Methods:A total of 68 patients with vascular dementia were divided into the treatment group and the control group according to the random number table method,with 34 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Compound Sea Serpent Capsules,while the treatment group was treated with Bupleurum plus Os Draconisand Oyster Shell Decoc-tion on the basis of the treatment of the control group.The clinical efficacy of the two groups was compared,and the changes of in TCM syndrome scores,cognitive function indexes[including mini-mental State Examination(MMSE),Montreal Cognitive Assessment(Mo-CA)],activity of daily living(ADL)scores and endoplasmic reticulum stress response indexes before and after treatment were com-pared.Results:The effective rate of the treatment group was 88.24％,which was higher than 64.71％of the control group,with statisti-cally significant difference(P＜0.05).After treatment,the TCM syndrome scores of the two groups were lower than those before treat-ment,and the treatment group's scores were lower than those of the control group(P＜0.05);The MMSE scores,ADL scores and CDT scores of the two groupsere higher than those before treatment,and the treatment group's scores were higher than those of the control group(P＜0.05);The MOCA scores of the two groups were higher than those before treatment,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05),but there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups(P＞0.05);The levels of glucose-regulated protein 78 and asparagine-specific protease-12 of the two groups were lower than those before treatment,and the treatment group's scores were lower than those of the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Bupleurum plus Os Draconisand Oyster Shell Decoction for vascular dementia has definite clinical efficacy,which can significantly improve the cognitive impairment of patients and improve their quality of life.关键词
