Abstract
Objective:To observe the influence of tendon acupuncture therapy on soft tissue tension and temporomandibular joint(TMJ)movement in patients with temporomandibular joint(TMJ).Methods:A total of 66 patients with TMJ treated in our hospital from June 2021 to June 2022 were selected as the research objects,and were divided into the conventional group and the experimental group,with 33 cases in each group according to the random number table method.The conventional group was given ordinary acupuncture combined with hot compress treatment,while the experimental group was given tendon acupuncture combined with hot compress treatment.The soft tissue tension,TMJ movement,TMJ disorder index,inflammatory cytokine levels,OHIP-14 scale scores and clinical efficacy of the two groups before and after treatment were observed.Results:The effective rate of the conventional group was 69.70％,and that of the ex-perimental group was 90.91％which was higher than that of the conventional group,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).After treatment,the soft tissue tension and TMJ movement of the two groups were better than those before treatment,and the ex-perimental group's above indexes were better than those of the conventional group,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05);The TMJ disorder index of the two groups was lower than that before treatment,and the experimental group's was lower than that of the conventional group,with statistically significant difference(P＜0.05);The levels of inflammatory cytokines of the two groups were low-er than those before treatment,and the experimental group's levels were lower than those of the conventional group,with statistically sig-nificant differences(P＜0.05);The OHIP-14 scale scores of the two groups were lower than those before treatment,and the experimen-tal group's scores were lower than those of the conventional group,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Ten-don acupuncture combined with hot compress therapy in the treatment of TMJ disorders can improve the soft tissue tension and TMJ movement of patients,and reduce the levels of inflammatory cytokines.关键词
