Abstract

In order to accurately know the clinical immune effect of swine type O foot and mouth disease inac-tivated vaccine(O/Mya98/XJ/2021 strain+O/GX/09-7 strain)of three manufacturers in production,and screen high-quality and reliable swine FMD O-type inactivated vaccine,in this study,the same batch of pigs(45 d~50 d)with low protection level of maternal antibody in a large-scale local pig farm were screened.FMD type O inacti-vated vaccines of three different manufacturers were selected to immunize pigs in groups A,B and C respectively,and the antibody titers before and after immunization were detected by FMD liquid phase blocking ELISA.Results showed that the immune antibodies reached a high level 28 days after the first immunization,and the titer of the second immunization was significantly higher than that of the first immunization,and the qualified rate of the im-mune antibodies remained at a high level 60 days after the second immunization.The immune protective barrier of the vaccine was relatively perfect and the protective effect was still good when the finishing pigs were sold to the market.After 28 days of the first vaccination,28 days of the second vaccination and 60 days of the second vaccina-tion,the independent samples of immune antibody titers of different manufacturers were tested by K-W test.There were significant differences among groups A,B and C(P<0.05),and the median of immune antibody titers of group A was significantly higher than that of group B and C(P<0.05).The concentration degree was sig-nificantly higher than that of B and C groups(P<0.05).The above results showed that the immune effect indexes such as immune antibody titer,retention time and concentration degree of inactivated FMDV O vaccine in pigs produced by manufacturer A were better than those produced by manufacturers B and C.It is therefore suggested that the local pig farms use the inactivated FMDV O vaccine produced by manufac-turer A,and immunize the pigs at 45 d to 50 d,and conduct second immunization after 28 d interval,so as to guarantee the protection of the vaccine to pigs before sold to market.
