Abstract
Population agglomeration and environmental pollution are two inevitable phenomena in the process of urbanization.In order to explore the association between them,a theoretical model of population agglomeration and environmental pollution is constructed based on the environmental Kutznets environmental curve model,and the spatial characteristics and temporal associa-tion of regional environmental pollution in China are demonstrated by the spatial Durbin model,and the degree of influence of pop-ulation agglomeration factors on regional environmental pollution is further analyzed,and the robustness of the model is tested.The results show that most of the regions with high population concentration are located in areas with higher economic development,and the degree of difference is expanding;there is a positive effect of population concentration,and the environmental pollution in the region is affected by the spillover effect,and the population concentration in the surrounding areas will also increase the degree of environmental pollution in the region;urban economic development,traffic level and greening level will all have an impact on envi-ronmental pollution.In view of the research results,countermeasures are proposed for the arrangement of population agglomeration and environmental pollution management in the urbanization process.关键词
