摘要

Abstract

Recently,due to the shortage of phosphorus resources and the limitations of recovery methods,there is an urgent need to develop viable technologies for recovering phosphorus from wastewater or sludge.Vivianite[Fe3(PO4)2·8H2 O]has attracted great attention due to its accessible and considerable economic value.The production of vivianite requires a reducing environment in addition to high concentrations of Fe2+,PO3-4 as well as neutral conditions of pH.Practically,the operating conditions of the wastewater treatment plant meet exactly the internal and external factors of vivianite formation.The existence of vivianite has also been reported for many times in the sludge.To promote the further development of phosphorus recovery in the form of vivianite,this review describes the feasibility of phosphorus recovery from wastewater in the form of vivianite in terms of its chemical properties,recovery potential,generation process,influencing factors and its recovery methods.Prospects and advices are given for future research and development of phosphorus recovery methods in the form of vivianite:clarifying the mechanism of vivianite crystallization and the influencing factors,increasing the size of the vivianite,and enhancing or developing methods of separation.
