Abstract
Objective:To analyze the output and citations of research literature on radiotherapy and chemotherapy for lung cancer patients worldwide from 2014 to 2022 and to provide reference for researchers in related fields to carry out research work.Methods:Related literature on radiotherapy and chemotherapy for lung cancer patients published from January 1,2014,to November 30,2022,were retrieved from the SCIE database of Web of Science.The included papers were analyzed from publishing countries and institutions,research directions,published journals,funding agencies,etc,and the frequency of citations.Results:A total of 5 526 relevant documents were retrieved,and the number of published articles showed a fluctuating upward trend.A total of 5 062 institutions in 96 countries/regions published relevant articles involving 848 journals and 71 research directions.China has published 1 668 articles,with a total citation frequency of 21 389 times and an average citation frequency of 12.82 times,in which there was a large gap between China and developed countries.Conclusions:From 2014 to 2022,the literature output and academic influence of research on radiotherapy and chemotherapy for lung cancer patients in developed countries in Europe and America are relatively strong.There is a significant gap in developing countries represented by China,but they still play a specific leading and exemplary role.Relevant personnel should focus on the literature published in journals such as Frontiers in Oncology,Lung Cancer,Radiotherapy and Oncology,keep abreast of the latest progress and development trends,expand the depth and breadth of research,and further enhance influence and recognition.关键词
