Abstract
The effect of Laser Energy Density(LED)and powder storage conditions on the properties of AlSi10Mg alloy formed using Selective Laser Melting(SLM)technology was studied.An orthogonal experimental design method was used to study the effect of LED on the density of AlSi10Mg specimens,considering the main influencing factors such as laser power,scanning speed and scanning distance.The optimal parameters were then used to form AlSi10Mg powder under different storage conditions,and the effect of powder storage on the properties of formed parts was analyzed.The results show that the density of formed parts increases first and then decreases as the LED increases.The best performance was observed within the range of 70~100 J/mm3 LED.A low LED can lead to unfused defects,while a high LED can result in shrinkage porosity.The difference between po-rosity and hydrogen porosity was analyzed by pore size and distribution.Formed parts from powder stored in a humid environment exhibit significantly decreased surface quality,density,hardness and tensile properties compared to those from the original pow-der,and the worse the storage temperature,the worse the formed parts perform.关键词
