摘要

Abstract

As an important energy-absorbing component in the bumper,the automobile energy-absorbing box can absorb collision energy,protect longitudinal beams and reduce maintenance costs during a collision,and has a positive effect on improving the crashworthiness of the entire vehicle.Taking the energy-absorbing box of the front bumper of a certain car model as the research object,the original stamping and welding structure was optimized into an internal high-pressure forming structure.Hypermesh and LS-Dyna software were used to conduct collision numerical simulations on the energy-absorbing characteristics of the two structural energy-absorbing boxes.Autoform software was used to conduct internal high-pressure forming numerical simulations of the internal high-pressure forming of the energy-absorbing boxes.Forming and collision tests were conducted on the actual energy-absorbing boxes.Finally,the collision numerical simulation results,internal high-pressure forming numerical simulation results and experimental values were compared.The results show that the internal high-pressure forming structure energy-absorbing box is superior to the stamping and welding structure energy-absorbing box in three aspects cncluding lightweight,cost and product performance.Both collision numerical simulation and internal high-pressure forming numerical simulation have important effects on product performance and process development and optimization.With great guiding significance,this research method provides a new idea for the design of automotive energy-absorbing components.
