Abstract
In order to study the settlement deformation characteristics of highway high fill subgrade,herein based on a high fill subgrade engineering along a highway in Beijing,a representative cross-section was selected to establish a finite element model.By use of"interaction"function of ABAQUS software,the dynamic filling process of the subgrade was simulated and,according to Mohr-Coulomb constitutive relationship,the settlement deformation characteristics of the embankment and foundation under different filling heights and working conditions were analyzed.The research shows that,as the filling height of subgrade increases,an area of stress concentration appears at the bottom of foundation,and gradually accumulates and increases from both sides to the middle;the maximum stress appears below the road centerline.The settlement of the foundation and the subgrade are positively correlated with the filling height of subgrade;the maximum settlement occurs at the road centerline,and gradually decreases to both sides of subgrade;the overall trend of settlement is"U"-shaped.The horizontal displacement of foundation gradually increases with the increase of the filling height of subgrade,and the maximum displacement gradually extends from deep foundation to ground surface.Under normal condition and rainstorm condition,the settlement deformation characteristics of high subgrade are consistent substantially.关键词
