摘要

Abstract

There is a widely industrial application prospect for the Fe-Al intermetallic compound due to the excellent physical and chemical properties.According to the research on the influence rule between the preparation parameters and the wettability of Fe-Al coating,there is a promotion effect for regulating the surface wettability of Fe-Al coating by this rule.The Fe-Al coating with micro-nano structures is prepared by electrical deposited coating(EDC)technology on the low carbon steel.In the coating prepa-ration experiment,the deposited currents of EDC are set as 8,10,12,14,16 A.The study focuses on the effects between the process parameters and micro-nano structures,and the wettability of the Fe-Al coating.The micro-nano structures and chemical analy-sis of the Fe-Al coating are respectively detected by scanning electron microscope(SEM)and energy dispersive spectrometer(EDS).The results indicate that the micro-nano structures in the Fe-Al coating are as like as the typical electrical discharge ma-chining morphology,and the phase compositions of the coating are Fe3 Al,Fe7 C3,AlFe3 C0.5.Moreover,the Fe-Al coating with micro-nano structures shows hydrophobic property.The contact angles(CA)of the coating samples increase rapidly with the in-creasing deposited current in the beginning,and then the increasing range of CAs reduces slowly.The results indicate that there is a significant effect for enhancing the hydrophobic property of Fe-Al coating with micro-nano structures under the situation of the lower deposited current,and in the higher deposited current,the enhancing effect for wettability of coating is reduction.
