Research progress of HMGB1 regulates IL-17 secretion in neutrophilic asthma
摘要
Abstract
Asthma is a chronic inflammatory disease,dividing into Th2 and non-Th2 types according to different in-flammatory cell types.Non-Th2 asthma is characterized by steroid hormone resistance and dominated by neutrophilic asth-ma.High mobility group box 1(HMGB1)is a chromatin binding protein belonging to the alertin family,which is in-volved in the occurrence and development of acute and chronic immune diseases as a pro-inflammatory mediator and a bio-marker of non-Th2 asthma.This paper reviews the relationship between the regulation of IL-17 secretion by HMGB1 in neutrophilic asthma.关键词
