Abstract

Engineering structural components often bear the double action of constant and cyclic loadings in the service process,which seriously affects the safe operation of the equipment.Therefore,it is necessary to carry out strain-controlled and stress-controlled alternating load tests without hold time and creep-ratchet interaction tests with hold time on 0Cr18Ni10Ti stainless steel 0Cr18Ni10Ti stainless steel at 350℃ to study the effects of different holding waveforms and holding times on the creep-ratcheting interaction.The results show that stress response at the peak-valley-holding obtained under strain-controlled loadings is lower than that tested at the valley-holding and peak-holding,and the decrease is 11.4% compared with the test results without holding.The stress amplitude decreases by 5.3%,11.4% and 12.7% when the peaking holding time is 30,120 and 300 s,and the decreasing rate slows down gradually with the increase of the holding time.Under stress-controlling loadings,the ratcheting strain evolution rate obtained at the peak-holding is faster than that tested at valley-holding and peak-valley-holding.The ratcheting strain increases by 40.2% compared with the test results without hold time.Furthermore,it is found that the ratcheting strain evolution rate is positively correlated with the peak-holding time.The ratcheting strain increases by 40.2%,50.9% and 54.0% when the peaking holding time is 30,120 and 300 s,respectively.
