The Value Connotation and Basic Guidance of Core Competency Building for Ideological and Political Teachers in Colleges and Universities in the New Era

Abstract
The key to carrying out ideological and political courses well lies in teachers.The ideological,theoretical and practical improvement of the ideological and political courses in colleges and universities cannot be separated from the improvement of ideological and political teachers'abilities and qualities.At the symposium of school ideological and political teachers,General Secretary Xi Jinping put forward"Six Requirements"for the teachers,which was an insightful summary and earnest hope of the necessary abilities and qualities of ideological and political teachers in schools in the new era,and pointed out the direction of efforts to promote the improvement of core competencies and professional development of university ideological and political course teachers in the new era.Focusing on the dual value connotation of the core competency construction of colleges and universities ideological and political teachers in the new era involves not only the individual development improvement based on professional portrait drawing,structural model construction,and evaluation system establishment,but also the realization of social value based on mission calling value,meeting challenges value,and role identity value.At the same time,it further clarifies the basic guidance of the construction of the core competency system framework of colleges and universities ideological and political teachers,which consists of three core dimensions of political ideal competency,professional skill competency and moral cultivation competency so that it provides necessary theoretical reference and practical basis for exploring the model construction,evaluation system improvement and improving path innovation of the core competency of colleges and universities ideological and political teachers in the new era.关键词
