摘要

Abstract

Neurodegenerative diseases,including Alzheimer's disease(AD)and Parkinson's disease(PD),are char-acterized by progressive loss and death of the structure and function of neurons in the central nervous system.Glial cells account for about half of the cells in the central nervous system(CNS).They are the dynamic guardians of the formation and maintenance of the CNS and play an important role in the regulation of neurodegenerative diseases.With the emergence and maturation of single cell sequencing technology,disease-related glial cell heterogeneity appears,providing a new therapeutic target for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases.This review mainly summarizes the functions of steady-state and non-steady-state glial cells in the brain,and explores disease-re-lated glial cells in neurodegenerative diseases based on single-cell sequencing technology,providing new ideas for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases.
