Abstract
Objective:To develop a questionnaire to measure the level of weight self-management among overweight and obese patients,and to test its reliability and validity.Methods:Based on the total lifestyle management concept,item pool of the questionnaire was formed after literature review and semi-structured interview,next 15 experts were invited to participate in a two-round Delphi consulation.Then,a pre-survey was conducted on 50 overweight and obese patients,and the items of the questionnaire were screened through item analysis.At last,239 overweight and obese patients were investigated,and 50 of them were re-tested two weeks later to test the reliability and validity of the questionnaire.Results:According to the results of Delphi consulation,a pre-test questionnaire with 31 items was formed.After item analysis,2 items were deleted.Three factors with 22 items were extracted by exploratory factor analysis,including diet management,physical activity and behavioral interventions,with a cumulative percentage of explained variance of 67.977%.The Cronbach's α coefficient was 0.958,the split-half reliability was 0.906,and the test-retest reliability was 0.982.And confirmatory factor analysis showed a good fit.Conclusion:The self-management behavior questionnaire for overweight and obese patients has good reliability and validity,which can be used as an effective tool to evaluate self-weight management level of overweight and obese patients.关键词
