Rural parents accompanying children studying in cities:strategy selection and generation logic

Abstract
Based on the qualitative research of field investigation,this paper analyzes the strategy and logic of rural parents ac-companying children to study in cities from the perspective of family transformation.In the context of urbanization,rural parents accompanying children studying in cities has become an important education investment for rural families to promote family devel-opment.Families actively adjust the resource allocation,and families with different resource endowments form differentiated ac-companying strategies.It found that accompanying is the result of family transformation and educational environment change.With the family transformation,developmental family goal has become the core concern of rural families.Under the increased family development pressure,education goal,as one of the developmental goals,has become the core family goals.Meanwhile,farmers'families increasingly perceive the structural pressures brought about by changes in the educational environment.The above two reasons constitute the power and pull of rural families to accompanying,which is helpful to realize family development and class mobility.The family development through education avoids the excessive dissipation of family resources,but also leads to the family development tension formed by the uneven distribution of resources.关键词
