摘要

Abstract

The Honshu-Shikoku Liaison Bridge Passage is an important land transportation line connecting the two main islands of Honshu and Shikokuin Japan.It consists of 17 large-span sea-crossing bridges and hundreds of large and small bridges along the whole line.They are maintained by the Honshu-Shikoku Liaison Expressway Co.,Ltd.,which is typical bridge clustersmaintenance mode,the maintenance strategies with the goal of 200-year ser-vice life of bridgeadopted by the Honshu-Shikoku Liaison Expressway Co.,Ltdare summarized in recent years,as well as the new technologies and equipment developed or applied in the maintenance work in order to provide useful references and inspirations for similar projects in China.
