Effect of thyroglobulin antibody on thyroid function in the middle and late pregnancy

Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of thyroglobulin antibody(TgAb)on thyroid function in the middle and late pregnancy.Methods A total of 1380 pregnant women who underwent the first prenatal examination in Yixing Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January to July 2022 were selected as the screening objects,and thyroid antibody and thyroid function screening was carried out for women in early pregnancy.39 pregnant women with euthyroidism and TgAb positive alone were randomly selected as the observation group,and 52 pregnant women with euthyroidism and negative TgAb were randomly selected as the control group.The concentrations of thyroid stimulating hormone(TSH)and free thyroxine(FT4)in the two groups were measured in the middle and late pregnancy(16,24,32 weeks),and the characteristics of the data in the two groups were analyzed.Results At 11,16,24 and 32 weeks of pregnancy,TSH in the observation group increased to varying degrees compared with the control group.The difference at 11 weeks and 24 weeks of pregnancy was not statistically significant(P>0.05),while the difference at 16 weeks and 32 weeks of pregnancy was statistically significant(P<0.05).In the middle and late stages of pregnancy,the average TSH level of pregnant women in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The levels of FT4 in the two groups were relatively stable at 11,16,24 and 32 weeks of pregnancy,and there were no significant difference in levels of FT4 between the two groups(P>0.05).In the middle and late stages of pregnancy,the TSH abnormal rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion TgAb positive alone may lead to hypothyroidism in the middle and late stages of pregnancy,and it is necessary for pregnant women with TgAb positive alone to regularly test for TSH in the middle and late stages of pregnancy.关键词
