Abstract
Objective To explore the application of prone position mechanical ventilation in children with respiratory distress syndrome.Methods A total of 40 children with respiratory distress syndrome undergoing mechanical ventilation in Binzhou Medical University Hospital from March 2021 to March 2023 were selected as the study objects.All the children were divided into the control group and the study group by random number table method,with 20 cases in each group.The control group was given supine position ventilation,and the study group was given prone position ventilation.The blood gas indicators and incidence of complications between the two groups were compared.Results The levels of arterial partial pressure of carbon dioxide in the study group was lower than that in the control group,and the levels of arterial partial pressure of oxygen and saturation of blood oxygen were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in the study group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion For children with respiratory distress syndrome undergoing mechanical ventilation,adopting prone position mechanical ventilation intervention can improve the blood gas indicators and reduce the incidence of complications.关键词
