Can ESG Performance Promote Green Innovation in Heavily Polluting Enterprises?
摘要
Abstract
This paper takes Shanghai and Shenzhen A-share heavily polluting listed companies from 2015 to 2020 as research samples to explore the impact of ESG performance on green innovation of heavily pol-luting enterprises.The results show that good ESG performance can promote the green innovation of heavy pol-luting enterprises.Mechanism analysis shows that ESG performance can improve the green innovation output of heavy polluting enterprises by easing financing constraints.Further research shows that ESG performance has a more significant role in promoting green innovation in heavily polluting enterprises,especially in state-owned enterprises.Ownership concentration plays a positive moderating role in the impact of ESG performance on green innovation of heavily polluting enterprises.关键词
