Abstract
Objective:To investigate the application value of ECG combined with ultrasound in PICC tip localization in elderly patients with critical illness.Methods:The data of 134 elderly critically ill patients were retrospectively analyzed,all of which were PICC tip precise location puncture.Ultrasound assisted patients were included in the control group(n=71),and ECG combined with ultrasound assisted patients were included in the observation group(n=63),so as to explore the application value of ECG.Results:Compared with the control group,the observation group had shorter catheterization time,better localization results,less puncture bleeding and lower complications,and was more satisfied with the catheterization technique and puncture technique(P<0.05).When the amplitude ratio P'/P was 80%～100%,the tip position of the catheter was the best.Conclusion:ECG combined with ultrasound can accurately locate PICC puncture in elderly patients with critical illness,reduce puncture blood loss and complication rate,and can locate the P'/P value between 80%and 100%.关键词
