Abstract

To investigate the potential of vegetable waste biogas slurry for resource utilization and pro-mote the reduction of chemical fertilizers,pot experiments were conducted following the principle of e-qual nitrogen application.The impact of biogas slurry on cabbage quality and soil properties was inves-tigated by partially replacing chemical fertilizer with biogas slurry and evaluating the effects of varying biogas slurry applications.The findings revealed that(1)substituting biogas slurry partially for chemi-cal fertilizer yielded the optimal result with a 75%biogas slurry + 25%chemical fertilizer combina-tion,resulting in a 112.54%and 44.86%increase in Chinese cabbage yield,respectively,when com-pared to the control groups receiving only watering or solely chemical fertilizer.When biogas slurry was used alone,a dosage of 1.5 times the nitrogen content achieved the most favorable outcome,resul-ting in a 33.21%increase in Chinese cabbage yield in comparison to the yield achieved with chemical fertilizer alone.(2)Biogas slurry has the potential to enhance soil quality by effectively elevating soil p H,augmenting total nitrogen content,and increasing the organic matter content.
