Abstract
Objective To observe and analyze the effects of triangular prism combined with binocular visual perception training in the treatment of intermittent exotropia in children and its influence on visual discomfort symptoms.Methods A total of 97 children patients(194 eyes)with intermittent exotropia admitted to the author's hospital from November 2021 to November 2022 were selected and divided into conventional group(n=48)and combined group(n=49)according to different treatment methods.Children patients in conventional group were treated with triangular prism,and children patients in combined group were treated with triangular prism combined with binocular visual perception training.The exotropia deviation and ocular hemodynamics[Systolic peak velocity(Vs),End-diastolic flow velocity(Vd),Resistance index(RI)]after treatment and far stereopsis,near stereopsis and eye position after treatment were compared between the two groups,and the visual discomfort symptoms were recorded.Results After treatment,the exotropia deviation in combined group was lower than that in conventional group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the Vs in combined group was higher than that in conventional group(P＜0.05),and there were no significant differences in Vd and RI between the two groups(P＞0.05).The detection rates of far stereopsis,near stereopsis and emmetropic position after treatment in combined group were higher than those in conventional group(P＜0.05).The total incidence rate of visual discomfort symptoms such as orbital pain,eye swelling and blurred vision in combined group was significantly lower than that in conventional group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Triangular prism combined with binocular visual perception training has a significant efficacy in the treatment of children with intermittent exotropia,and can effectively reduce the exotropia deviation,relieve visual discomfort symptoms and improve binocular visual function.关键词
