Abstract
Objective To study the changes of soft tissue and hard tissue of children with deep overbite after early correction of MRC(Myofunctional research company)in mixed dentition stage,and to evaluate the early treatment effect of MRC muscle function trainer for deep overbite cases,which can provide basis for early correction of deep overbite cases.Methods The clinical data of 50 children with severe deep overbite during mixed dentition who were treated in the affiliated stomatological hospital of Soochow University from December 2019 to August 2020 were retrospectively analyzed and used MRC muscle functional trainer in early stage.The paper compares the changes of hard tissue and soft tissue before and after treatment,and analyzes the correlation between the changes before and after treatment.Results There were no significant differences in soft tissue Z Angle,upper lip E line distance and lower lip E line distance before and after treatment(P>0.05).Hard tissue SNA,ANB,NP-FH,NA-Pa,MP-FH,Y-axis Angle,U1-l1,U1-NA,U1-NA,L1-MP,Po-Nb distance,FMA(FH-MP)had no statistical significance(P>0.05).After treatment,SNB,L1-NB,L1-NB were higher than before treatment,while overlap was lower than before treatment,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion MRC muscle function trainer can significantly reduce deep overbite in children with deep overbite during tooth replacement,increase lip inclination of lower front teeth and improve mandibular retraction.关键词
