Abstract
Objective To investigate and compare the short-term and long-term aesthetic effects of porcelain veneer and resin in anterior space.Methods 90 patients who needed aesthetic restoration of anterior teeth from February 2020 to October 2020 in the department of prosthodontics of our hospital were collected and randomly divided into 2 groups,the blank group and the observation group,according to the parity of the tail number of the diagnosis number.The patients in the blank group were treated with resin,and the patients in the observation group were treated with porcelain veneer.The masticatory function before and after treatment,the curative effect after treatment and the aesthetic repair effect 1～24 months after treatment were recorded.Results Compared with before treatment,the masticatory efficiency of 2 groups was significantly improved after treatment(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the masticatory efficiency between 2 groups before and after treatment(P＞0.05).6 months after treatment,the blank group had 98 teeth(82.35%),15 teeth(12.61%),6 teeth(5.04%)and 113 teeth(94.96%)markedly effective,effective,ineffective and total effective,respectively.The observation group had 95 teeth(84.82%),16 teeth(14.29%),1 tooth(0.89%)and 111 teeth(99.11%),respectively.Compared with the blank group,the total effective rate of the observation group was higher,but there was no significant difference between 2 groups(P＜0.05).Compared with the blank group,the cases of color mismatching and tooth sensitivity of the restoration in the observation group at 12 and 24 months after treatment was less(P＜0.05),and the cases of secondary caries of the restoration at 24 months after treatment was less(P＜0.05).Conclusion Compared with porcelain veneers,resin veneers are more economical and easy to operate.Compared with resin veneers,porcelain veneers have obvious advantages in color matching,reducing tooth sensitivity and secondary caries.Doctors can make a comprehensive judgment based on the needs of patients when formulating the restoration plan for anterior tooth space.关键词
