The Internal Mechanism and Boundary Conditions of Spousal Instrumental Support Influencing Employee's Innovation Behavior

Abstract
With the gender role division of"male lead outside,female lead inside"and the traditional intergenerational support of"intergenerational care"gradually being broken,both spouses in dual worker families need to undertake work tasks and household chores simultaneously.Therefore,how to achieve harmonious progress between employees'work and family has become an important issue in this field.Based on the resource-acquisition-development model,with family-work gain as the mediating variable and work-family segregation preference as the moderating variable,this paper constructs a model of the effect of spousal instrumental support on employees'innovation behavior.A hierarchical regression analysis is conducted on 258 employee questionnaire data.The results show that spousal instrumental support positively influences employees'innovation behavior,family-work gain plays a complete mediating role between spousal instrumental support and employees'innovation behavior,and low-level work-family segregation preference can enhance the positive influence of spousal instrumental support on employees'innovation behavior through family-work gain.关键词
