摘要
Abstract
Huoxiang,a commonly used traditional Chinese medicine, stands as a significant representative of fragrant drugs that were introduced into China in the early stage and successfully localized. This study focuses on Huoxiang, tracing its introduction through the Silk Road since the Han Dynasty. It was initially used as medicine by doctors in the Sui and Tang Dynasties, integrated into the traditional Chinese medicine system during the Song and Yuan Dynasties with the wide application of fragrant medicinals, and finally developed and matured in the Ming and Qing Dynasties with the localization process of category division.Taking this medicine as a representative example, this paper summarizes the process of integrating foreign fragrant drugs introduced into the Central Plains of China during the Tang and Song Dynasties into the theoretical system of traditional Chinese medicine. It also highlights the positive impact of introducing foreign fragrant medicinals on the theoretical system of traditional Chinese medicine.关键词
