Abstract
In order to diagnose a suspected case of porcine contagious pleuropneumonia in a pig farm,this study first investigated the clinical symptoms before the pig's death.Subsequently,a post-mortem examination was conducted,and laboratory diagnostics such as bacterial isolation culture,mass spectrometry analysis,PCR detection,and histopathology were performed on collected samples.The results revealed clinical symptoms including elevated body temperature,respiratory distress,and nasal discharge of bloody frothy secretions before the pig's death.Post-mortem examination showed pathological changes such as pleural effusion,lung hemorrhage,and enlargement.Laboratory diagnostics confirmed the isolation of Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae serotype 7 from pleural effusion,blood,and lung tissues.Histopathological observations demonstrated hemorrhagic fibrinous pneumonia in lung tissues with blue-stained bacterial clusters in alveolar exudate.Other organs such as the heart,kidneys,lymph nodes,liver,and spleen exhibited varying degrees of hemorrhage,congestion,edema,and lymphocytic infiltration.Based on the comprehensive diagnostic results,the pig was confirmed to be infected with Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae.关键词
