柴黄口服液对鸡传染性支气管炎的临床效果
Clinical Effect of Chaihuang Oral Liquid on Infectious Bronchitis in Chickens

Abstract
To observe the clinical efficacy of Chaihuang oral liquid on infectious bronchitis(IB)in chickens,this study selected diseased chickens diagnosed by pathogen detection and randomly divided them into two groups:the experimental group(Chaihuang oral liquid at 2.5 mL/L drinking water+20％florfenicol powder at 1 g/L drinking water)and the control group(20％florfenicol powder at 1 g/L drinking water).The treatment was administered continuously for 5 days.Clinical symptoms,pathological changes,organ index,and histopathological changes in chickens before and after administration were observed to evaluate the therapeutic effect of Chaihuang oral liquid on chicken IB in conventional farming environments.The results showed that after 5 days of administration,compared with the control group,the clinical symptoms of respiratory diseases in the experimental group were alleviated,the mortality rate decreased by 1.7％,the average final weight increased by 18.47％(P＜0.01),and the average weight gain increased by 37.36％(P＜0.01).The sticky exudates in the trachea and air sac walls decreased,and the indices of lungs,liver,and spleen slightly increased,but the differences were not significant(P＞0.05).Histopathological observations showed that the organ histological structure,including the trachea,lungs,and intestines,in the control group chickens exhibited varying degrees of lesions such as vascular dilation,congestion,and mucosal epithelial shedding.In contrast,the experimental group chickens showed no significant abnormalities in the histological structure of the trachea,lungs,and intestines.Both groups of chickens exhibited lesions in the kidneys,including glomerular atrophy and degeneration and necrosis of renal tubular epithelial cells.The results indicate that Chaihuang oral liquid has a good therapeutic effect on chicken IB,protecting the integrity of the trachea,lungs,and intestinal tissues,while improving chicken productivity and reducing mortality.关键词
