Abstract

To quantitatively analyze the effects and influencing factors of zinc application on sugar beet yield and sugar yield in China,in order to provide reference for scientific application of zinc fertilizer.Meta-analysis was used to analyze the literature data that met the research requirements from 1979 to 2021,grouped according to planting area,fertilization method,fertilization amount,and soil effective zinc,organic matter and total nitrogen content,and at the same time,the treatment with zinc fertilizer was used as a blank control,to explore the com-prehensive effect of zinc application on sugar beet yield and sugar yield.The results showed that zinc fertilizer application in Northwest China had the best effect on yield and sugar yield increasing,and the Northeast region is second.Compared with the leaf spray application,the basal application had a better effect on sugar beet yield and sugar yield.Fertilizer application rate of 15~30 kg/hm2 had the greatest yield and sugar increasing effect,followed by fertilizer application rate of 15 kg/hm2,and fertilizer application rate of 30 kg/hm2 had the least yield and sugar increasing effect.Under different soil conditions,when the soil effective zinc content was 0.5 mg/kg,the organic matter content was 16 g/kg,or the total nitrogen was 0.9 g/kg,the application of zinc fertil-izer had a better effect on increasing yield and sugar yield.In conclusion,the amount of fertilizer applied,the method of fertilizer application and the soil nutrient base were the main factors influencing the yield and sugar in-crease effects of Zn application on sugar beet.Therefore,comprehensive consideration should be given to the soil fertility conditions in the field planting and production of sugar beet,and reasonable fertilization amount and method should be adopted to improve the nutritional management level of zinc fertilizer,so as to realize high-quality and high-efficiency cultivation of sugar beet in China,and to promote the healthy development of the sugar industry.
