Abstract
Objective:To observe the clinical effect of ocular ultrasonic atomization fumigation with Huajian Erchen Powder in the treatment of dry eyes caused by meibomian gland dysfunction(MGD).Method:From May 2021 to March 2022,62 patients who met the inclusion criteria in the Ophthalmology Department of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Fujian Medical University were selected,and divided into an observation group of 32 cases and a control group of 30 cases by drawing lots.The control group were treated with Tobramycin eye drops,distilled water ultrasonic atomization fumigation combined with meibomian gland massage.The observation group was treated with Tobramycin eye drops,Chinese medicine Huajian Erchen Powder liquid ultrasonic atomization fumigation combined with tarsal gland massage.Observation targets included the ocular surface disease index(OSDI)score,the SchirmerⅠ test(SⅠT),the break up time(BUT),and the tarsal gland status score in both groups.Result:After intervention,the OSDI scores of both groups were decreased compared those to before intervention,and that in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention,both groups were longer in SⅠT compared those before intervention,and that in the observation group was longer than that in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention,both groups of BUT were prolonged compared those before intervention,and that in the observation group was longer than that in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention,the condition of the meibomian glands scores in both groups were decreased compared those before intervention,and that in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:After ocular fumigation with traditional Chinese medicine Huajian Erchen Powder combined with tarsal gland massage for MGD patients,can further obtain higher clinical efficacy,stabilize the tear film,alleviate the condition.关键词
