Visualization Analysis of Therapeutic Drug Monitoring of Global Antimicrobial Agents

Abstract
Objective To investigate the research status,hotspots and development trends of therapeutic drug monitoring(TDM)of global antimicrobial agents.Methods The relevant English literature in the Web of Science Core Collection from its inception to December 31,2022 were searched.Visualization analysis was performed by the CiteSpace software from annual publication quantity,authors,institutions,countries,co-citation frequency and keywords of the included literature.Results A total of 1 387 relevant literature was included.The global publication quantity showed a rapidly increasing trend since 2011;the United States was the top contributor,followed by Australia,and China ranked the seventh.Jason A Roberts from Australia had the highest quantity of publications(89 literature)and literature citation frequency(172 times),and the institution he worked in was the top one in quantity of publications.Mckinnon PS and St Vincent's Hospital had the highest centrality,with 0.13 and 0.36 respectively.The keyword with the highest frequency was pharmacokinetics(482 times),and high-frequency keywords could be divided into ten clusters,classified into five researches.The keywords with the strong citation bursts were changing constantly,with piperacillin,quantification,meropenem,acute kidney injury and validation from 2017 to 2022,and the focus was on developing new detection methods(involving various antimicrobial agents such as piperacillin)and medication safety.At present,aminoglycosides,glycopeptides and β-lactams were the research hotspots in this field,and the liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry had been paid much attention.Conclusion The TDM research on antimicrobial agents is advancing rapidly,with an increasing variety of monitoring drugs and diverse analytical techniques and monitoring populations.In the future,TDM will play an important role in the rational use of antimicrobial agents.关键词
