Achievements and Prospects of Research on Sustainable Utilization and Development of Traditional Chinese Medicine Resources Supported by Key Project of Modernization Research of Traditional Chinese Medicine During the 13th Five-Year Plan Period

Abstract
Traditional Chinese medicine resources are national strategic assets.With the support of the national key research and development program,namely"Modernization Research of Traditional Chinese Medicine",the research on traditional Chinese medicine resources assurance has made remarkable progress,which plays a positive role in further strengthening the sustainable utilization of traditional Chinese medicine resources in China.This paper systematically sorted out the research on traditional Chinese medicine resources assurance of the key project of"Modernization Research of Traditional Chinese Medicine"during the 13th Five-Year Plan period and summarized the outstanding achievements of the project in the construction of the ecological planting technology system of Chinese medicinal materials,the large-scale planting of authentic Chinese medicinal materials to facilitate the comprehensive utilization of Chinese medicinal materials,the targeted poverty alleviation,the development of new sources of Chinese medicinal resources,and the innovative breeding of new varieties of Chinese medicinal materials.It is suggested to continue to strengthen the support for key research directions such as sustainable supply of traditional Chinese medicine,quality improvement of traditional Chinese medicine,and quality assurance of authentic medicinal materials,so as to support the high-speed,high-quality,and sustainable development of traditional Chinese medicine industry.关键词
