Abstract
This paper has applied the theory of beam on elastic foundation to the calculating of overhanging beams,and has given a set of formu Iae in calculating moment,shear force and the stress under overhanging beam,After the formulae have been simplified,we have recommended more and practical formulae of calculating overhanging deams,which is in good accord with the experimental results and can be available for the design of overhanging beams as well.关键词
