理雅各《论语》英译的概念化透视
A Conceptual Insight into James Legge's English Translation of Lunyu
摘要
Abstract
From the perspective of categorization,translation is a process of transformation between categories and reclassification of the original text into the target language category.The success of James Legge's English translation of Lunyu lies in his choice of appropriate translation strategies and the con-struction of the conceptual framework of the original ecology,sub-ecology and new ecology in the trans-lation.The formation of the conceptual framework ensures that the original text can be reproduced to some extent in the translation from form to content.The target language reader realizes the cognition from the source language culture to the target language culture through the conceptual framework,so as to achieve a complete understanding of the original work.The conceptual framework is the bridge connecting the o-riginal text and the target language readers.To build a complete conceptual structure,the translator needs to fully consider all the relevant factors between the source language culture and the target language cul-ture,be good at filling the cultural default,reshape the bones and muscles of the source language culture,and achieve the rebirth of the original text in the target language culture.关键词
