Deep Analysis on the Bearing Capacity of Foundation
摘要
Abstract
The foundation bearing capacity directly affects the safety and normal use of civil engineering,being one of the core research areas in soil mechanics.The evaluation methods of foundation bearing capacity in different countries,industries and historical periods are different,causing the complexity of the evaluation system of foundation bearing capacity and difficulties to understand and determine the foundation bearing capacity.For a better understanding and evaluation of the foundation bearing capacity,the concept,historical development and evaluation method of the foundation bearing capacity were deeply analyzed.First,the concept and main evaluation method of the foundation bearing capacity were summarized,and the evaluation methods were systematically classified into the in-situ method,the theoretical method and the empirical method.Second,the development history of the evaluation method of foundation bearing capacity in Chinese codes was reviewed and their similarities and differences were analyzed,finding the evaluation methods in Chinese codes undergone a transformation from a pure theory to a combination of theory,in-situ tests and empirical modifications."TJ7-74 code for design of industrial and civil building foundations"is an important milestone in the process of transformation.Finally,the Chinese,American and European evaluation methods of foundation bearing capacity were compared.It was found that European and American codes use the reduced ultimate bearing capacity of foundations as the design value,while Chinese codes use the critical load corrected empirically as the characteristic value,which are significantly different.关键词
