Abstract
Affected by typhoon"Doksuri",the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei regions experienced severe torren-tial rains from July 29th to August 2nd,resulting in significant casualties and property losses.After the di-saster,an on-site investigation was conducted about the flood traces and overflow situations in the five tributaries within Lugouqiao and Sanjiadian range along Yongding River.Local residents were inter-viewed,and the rainfall data from hourly precipitation processes were statistically analyzed for rainfall vol-ume and recurrence intervals using rainfall stations.Hydraulic methods were employed to calculate river inflow,to investigate and to analyze the"23·7"watershed's exceptionally large-scale flooding within Lu-gouqiao and Sanjiadian range.Based on the analysis of the causes after the disastrous effects of torrential rains and floods,reflections were made on the issues existing in river channel management and corre-sponding strategies were proposed.This study served as a reference for future river channel governance and management.关键词
