摘要

Abstract

Heavy metal content from 29 different origins was determined to assess the health risk of Codo-nopsis tangshen.Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(ICP-MS)was applied to measure the content of five heavy metal elements,Pb,Cr,As,Hg and Cd in Codonopsis tangshen.Combining dietary exposure risk,non-carcinogenic health risk,and carcinogenic health risk,the quality of Codonopsis tangsh-en from different origins was assessed.The result shows that the Cr has a certain dietary exposure risk for adults,while the other four metal elements have no dietary exposure risk.Pb and Cr pose certain dietary exposure risks to children whereas the other three metal elements pose no such risks.For adults and chil-dren,there is no non-carcinogenic or carcinogenic risk in Codonopsis tangshen from different origins.It can be concluded that the risk assessment in this paper is relevant to the quality assessment of Codonopsis tangshen from various origins.
