摘要

Abstract

Among the widely studied cathode materials,LiCoO2(LCO)still dominates in portable electronics.Although its theoretical capacity~274 mAhg-1 can't be achieved in lithium-ion batteries,it can achieve a specific capacity of~240 mAhg-1 by increasing the charge voltage to 4.6V.LCO at high voltage faces the problems ofmaterial surface structure instability,lattice oxygen output and other issues in the electrochemical reaction.This paper investigatesthe effect of lanthanum-doped coating on the high-voltage 4.6V LCO.The results show that the positive electrode of La-LCOcan inhibit the degradation of the electrode surface structure,significantly improve the electrochemical performance and greatly enhancethe high-voltage cycle stability.For half-cell 4.6V,capacity retention rate is 88%of 1C after 200 cycles and for LCO/graphite full cell,it is still 89%of 1C after 100 cycles.
