Abstract
With the increasing higher requirements for the urban development quality,the phenomenon of shadow areas in urban central areas has been paid more and more attention.This paper expounds the internal relationship between the central area and the shadow area from the perspective of competition and cooperation,and analyzes the existing development bottleneck of No.25 Neighborhood in Gusu District,Suzhou.There are not only internal problems,such as aging material space,low-grade business services,and lack of vitality of the crowd,etc.,but also some realistic factors,such as insufficient contact with the development core of the center and blocked interaction.Based on the cognition of competition and cooperation,this paper puts forward the idea of updating and developing the shadow area in coordination with the central area,which can provide a reference for upgrading the quality of this kind of historical and cultural blocks,and finally lead to the cooperation and mutual benefit,symbiosis and common prosperity of all spatial units.关键词
