Abstract
A Tale of the Day Brocade Hall is a rhyme novel in narrative style created by female writers in the Qing Dynasty.From the perspective of narrative art,it features not only a rigorous structure,clear context,but also a highly engaging plot flowing with wit.From the perspective of character portrayal,it excels in the depiction of both the tones and the mental workings of its characters,bringing characters into vivid real life,hence its artistic charm.From the perspective of gender awareness,it not only publicizes women's self-consciousness by writing the life legend of the heroine,but also explores women's living space by shaping several females in their supportive roles.In addition,this work is elegant in language and fluent in writing,making it a masterpiece with high artistic standards.关键词
