摘要

Abstract

Electrothermal chemical emission technology,which is based on plasma jet,is a new concept high speed emission technology,the nozzle diameter of pulsed plasma jet has a great influence on its expansion characteristics.In order to study the influence of nozzle diameter change on the emission charaeteristic,an unsteady two-dimensional axisymmetric model of plasma jet spreading in the atmosphere was established,and the computational region was determined according to the characteristics of plasma jet spreading in the atmosphere.Grid independence of the calculation region was verified.The plasma generator was designed and experimental research was carried out.The free jet of plasma jet was numerically simulated by Fluent software,and the rationality of the model is verified.Aiming at three nozzle diameters of 5mm,6mm and 7mm,the spread characteristics of plasma jet and the variation law of characteristic parameters were numerically analyzed.The results show that when the plasma jet spreads in the atmosphere,the parameters of the flow field near the nozzle change sharply,and then gradually decay with the injection time.The larger the nozzle diameter,the stronger the expansion ability of Taylor cavity,which is mainly manifested in radial expansion at the initial stage and axial expansion at the later stage.At the same time,during the expansion process,the pressure shows the law of alternating distribution of high and low pressure,and the mixing phenomenon of plasma jet and air is also enhanced,and the Taylor cavity of plasma jet is more broken,which indicates the stability of plasma jet was affected.
