Expression of pan-TRK protein in intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma and its correlation with Ki67

Abstract
Objective To investigate the expression and significance of pan-TRK protein in intrahepatic cholan-giocarcinoma(ICC)by detecting the expression of pan-TRK protein.Methods A total of 126 cases of ICC were col-lected and divided into recurrence and metastasis group and control group based on the presence or absence of recurrence or metastasis.The expression of pan-TRK protein in the 126 cases of ICC was detected using immunohistochemistry.The expression of pan-TRK protein was analyzed,and the difference in pan-TRK protein expression between the two groups was compared.The relationship between pan-TRK protein expression and clinical pathological features such as pathologi-cal classification was also analyzed,as well as its correlation with the Ki67 index.Results Pan-TRK protein expression was found in 8 out of the 126 cases of ICC.Among these,4 cases showed uniform cytoplasmic positivity,3 cases showed nuclear positivity,and 1 case showed scattered cytoplasmic positivity.All positive cases were found in the recurrence and metastasis group(9.64%),while no pan-TRK protein expression was observed in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant.There was no correlation between pan-TRK protein expression and clinical pathological fea-tures such as gender,age,pathological classification,or Ki67 index.Conclusion Pan-TRK protein can be expressed in ICC,and different expression patterns may indicate different NTRK gene alterations.This suggests that changes in the Trk signaling pathway may be involved in the occurrence and development of ICC and may be closely related to recurrence and metastasis.关键词
