摘要

Abstract

With acrylonitrile(AN,M1)and hydroxyethyl acrylate(HEA,M2)as monomers,in the process of preparing neutral polymer bonding agent by means of the free radical random copolymerization,monomer content of copolymer generated at the early and late stage are different due to the different reaction activity of two monomers,which can cause composition drift phenomenon.In pres-ent study,the changes of free radical concentration,monomer conversion and instantaneous composition,copolymer instantaneous composition and average composition during a typical batch copolymerization of AN and HEA were investigated by kinetics model.In order to prevent composition drift,a semi-continuous copolymerization process should be used by continuously adding the higher reac-tion activity monomer—HEA,and the dosing rate of HEA can be available by model simulation.The methods and results of this study will provide an important reference for the preparation of various AN-HEA random copolymers with uniform monomer composition.
