摘要
Abstract
China has a significant proportion of dry land area,accounting for more than half of the arable land area.Vigorously developing dry farming water-saving agriculture is the essential way to effectively address the problems of frequent regional droughts,water resource shortages,and promote high yield and efficiency in agriculture.It is also an important guarantee for national food security.This paper systematically analyzes and summarizes the concept,history and development status,characters and main measures,and existing issues of dry farming and water-saving agriculture in China.It proposes ideas and principles for developing dry farming and water-saving agriculture in China,and suggests that efforts should be made in strengthening organizational leadership,financial support,scientific and technological support,formulating incentive measures,and strengthening publicity and reporting during the development process.关键词
