Abstract

CoP/g-C3N4 composite material was prepared by hydrothermal method and used for photocatalytic reduction of CO2.The structure activity relationship of the composite photocatalyst was established by combining XRD,SEM-EDS,TEM,XPS,UV-Vis DRS,PL,electrochemical testing,and in-situ DRIFTS technology,and the mechanism of photocatalytic reduction of CO2 was explored.The experimental results show that compared to pure g-C3N4,the introduction of CoP increases the yield of methane by nearly 2 times,while generating a new reduction product methanol,and the yield of methane and methanol is 104.23 μmol/(g·h)and 63.83 μmol/(g·h),respectively.The characterization results show that CoP particles with metal oriented characteristics are uniformly distributed on the g-C3N4 sheet structure,forming a tightly contacted heterojunction structure through electronic interaction.On the one hand,it can significantly inhibit the recombination of photo-induced carriers,and on the other hand,it can effectively establish an internal electric field to accelerate the migration of photo-induced carriers from the bulk phase to the catalyst surface,thereby improving the CO2 photocatalytic reduction performance of the catalyst.
