Effect of Liuwei Dihuang Pills on serum bone alkaline phosphatase,tar-trate resistant acid phosphatase-5b and bone mineral density in patients with osteoporotic vertebral fracture

Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of Liuwei Dihuang Pills in the treatment of osteoporotic vertebral fracture.Methods A total of 80 patients with osteoporotic vertebral fracture hospitalized in Hengyang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from February 2021 to February 2022 were selected as the study objects,and were divided into control group(40 cases)and observation group(40 cases)by random number table method.The control group was treated with operation combined with western medicine,the observation group was treated with Liuwei Dihuang Pills.The bone density index,serum bone alkaline phosphatase(BALP),tartrate resistant acid phosphatase-5b(TRACP-5b)and Oswestry disability index(ODI)scores of the two groups were compared.Results The bone density index level of observation group was higher than that of control group after treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).There was no statistical signif-icance in serum BALP and TRACP-5b levels between the two groups before treatment(P＞0.05),serum BALP and TRACP-5b levels in the observation group after treatment were lower than those in the control group,with statistical signifi-cance(P＜0.05).There was no statistical significance in ODI scores between the two groups before treatment(P＞0.05).The ODI score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group after treatment,and the difference was statisti-cally significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Liuwei Dihuang Pills has obvious effect on the treatment of osteoporotic vertebral fracture,the bone mineral density of patients is obviously increased,the serum index of patients is decreased,and the dys-function of patients is obviously improved,which can be used for reference and promotion in clinic.关键词
