摘要
Abstract
Objective To determine the IgM-positive detection rate of 9 respiratory pathogens in adults with respiratory tract infections in the Jinhua area, and assess gender, age, and seasonal differences in positive rates. This provides a pathogenic basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment. Methods The retrospective analysis examined the IgM antibody detection of 9 respiratory pathogens in 5 915 adult patients presenting symptoms of respiratory tract infection. Results The overall percentage of positive results for IgM antibodies to 9 respiratory pathogens in 5 915 adult patients with respiratory tract infections was 28.2%.The prevalence of mycoplasma pneumoniae(MP)was the highest at 18.31%,followed by influenza B virus(BIV)at 10.5%.The total positive rate of IgM for respiratory pathogens in adult men was greater than that of females(P<0.05).In the 60-year-old age group, the rates of single and mixed positive cases were significantly higher than in other age groups(P<0.05).Detection rates of Coxsackie B virus(CoxB)and human parainfluenza virus(HPIV)were higher in summer than in other seasons, while rates of MP were lower in autumn than in other seasons.Additionally, detection rates of BIV were higher in spring and winter. The observed differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusions The rate of positive detection for MP IgM antibodies was the highest of the nine respiratory pathogens detected in adult patients with respiratory infections, with BIV in second place. The distribution of respiratory pathogens had a relationship with factors such as gender, age and season.关键词
