Abstract
The problem of spacecraft waste heat emission is the main factor restricting the growth of their payload accommodation capacity.A collapsible radiator for spacecraft based on loop heat pipe is designed and a novel scheme is proposed for a foldable radiator with a high folding ratio based on the Waldron mechanism to address the current problem of low packing ratio of collapsi-ble radiator.Additionally,a flexible loop heat pipe is employed as a heat collection and transfer unit,enabling flexible coupling between the radiation plate and load.Mathematical models and tests are conducted to study the heat transfer characteristics of a 1/8 isometric prototype,and the re-search results show that the prototype can transfer up to 200 W of heat and can obtain larger area after deployment.关键词
