Abstract

Under the background of carbon peak and carbon neutralization target strategy,accelerating the development of pumped storage power stations is of great significance for promoting new energy consumption and ensuring the safe and stable operation of power grids.According to the power load level and characteristics of Guangxi,the planning scale and output characteristics of wind power,based on the analysis of the mismatch between wind power output and power system load demand,combined with the regulation performance characteristics of pumped storage power station,the system power and energy balance analysis method is used to study the continuous full power output hours of pumped storage,and the function and benefit of pumped storage are demonstrated.The results show that Guangxi needs to build a pumped storage power station with weekly regulation performance.The research results can provide reference for the regulation performance design of pumped storage power station.
